2023 Kids Hurt Too Hawaii Healing Young Hearts Gala

Kids Hurt Too needs your support at this event to fulfill our mission to provide grieving and traumatized children with a safe space to express feelings about their loss. In Hawaii, 1-in-15 children will suffer the loss of a parent or sibling by the age of 18, that’s over 80,000 of our keiki. Thousands more experience loss from divorce, incarceration, domestic violence, or placement in foster care. These losses create lasting wounds without therapeutic intervention to help children develop positive coping skills. Through our peer support groups, mentoring, and community engagement activities and events, we work tirelessly to directly address these issues and help these children on their healing journey.
